Centro Tyrone Guzman
Centro Tyrone Guzman is Minneapolis-based Latine social services non-profit that serves 4,000 people annually with programs around nutrition, arts, academic success, cultural identity and leadership. They have strong partnerships with community, city government and Comcast and will be expanding existing efforts to increase internet engagement with families that they serve by purchasing and distributing 65 iPads. The iPads will be loaded with software including applications for research, music, meditation, exercise, time management and art to aid in remote learning. Most of the recipients are recent immigrants or the children of recent immigrants.
