South Central Service Cooperative

South Central Service Cooperative (SCSC) is a public non-profit linking over 80 public and private school districts in southern Minnesota. South Central Regional Area Telecommunications System (SOCRATES) is a program of SCSC that provides internet connectivity and network services to schools and libraries in the region. The project draws an earlier effort to create a professional development program for teachers to improve the quality of education of 32,827 students across 26 districts that they serve. The program will include collaborative courses, workshops and individual coaching sessions designed around effective and equity-driven distance learning.
