Fall 2023 Updates

Digital Navigation 

This group has been working on a Digital Navigator Competencies Framework that is almost ready to pilot in November! This is a HUGE milestone and we are so grateful for the brilliance and many hours that have gone into getting us this far! We hope to have this available as a public resource by next spring. 

Connectivity 

ConnectedMN and Comcast hosted a gathering for internet service providers across the state on how BEAD funding/Digital Opportunity Plan will impact their services and the role digital navigation will undoubtedly play as they roll out service in new communities that have been un/underserved. Here are the notes (need to add link). 

Other Updates

• ConnectedMN grantees have decided to meet quarterly to continue the conversation, share resources, and generally connect. 

• The ConnectedMN website has been updated with subgroup members, the kumu map of all collaborators, and the provider meeting details. 

• Both groups have begun dreaming about 2024 goals. Please let us know if you have any topics you want us to address. Stay tuned!
